Privacy Policy

Effective August 2, 2026

In Good Standing ("we," "us") helps licensed mental health professionals track continuing education and licensing requirements. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Profile information you choose to add — your profession, license type, license state, and renewal details, used to show you the requirements and courses that apply to you.
  • Course tracking records — the courses and events you mark as planned, in progress, or completed, and any details you log about them.

We do not collect client or patient information of any kind, and we never ask for it. We do not collect payment information (the product is currently free).

How we use it

  • To operate the product: showing your requirements, tracking progress, and recommending courses.
  • To send service emails such as renewal reminders, where you have an account.
  • In aggregate, to understand usage and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run the product (authentication, hosting, and database infrastructure), each bound to use it only on our behalf.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to course providers may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase — at no additional cost to you. Recommendations are driven by your board's requirements and your interests, never by commissions.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
